FitCheck AI ("FitCheck", "we", "us") helps you find your clothing size and preview
garments on yourself. This policy explains what we collect, how it is used, and the
third parties that process it. We collect as little as possible and do not sell your data.
1. Information we process
Body measurement photos. Photos you take holding a bank/credit card
(used only as a size reference) are sent to our secure backend and to a third-party AI
provider to estimate your body measurements. We do not sell these photos or use them for
advertising. We recommend covering your card number; the card is used only for scale.
Product images. Screenshots or links of items you check are processed
to read size information and to compare fit.
Virtual try-on photos. When you use "See It On You", your photo and a
garment image are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini) that
generates the try-on image, and each generated image is automatically reviewed by a
second AI provider (Anthropic Claude) for quality and safety before it is shown to
you. We instruct these providers not to retain the inputs or results beyond processing.
If you turn on "Remember my photo", your try-on photo is stored in your private account
space in our backend until you remove it in Settings → Privacy; otherwise we do
not store it on our servers. The finished image is saved only on your device unless you
choose to share it.
Profile & usage data. Height, weight, gender, saved measurements,
check/try-on history, and app preferences. Most of this is stored on your device; an
anonymous account identifier and subscription/usage counters are stored in our backend.
Account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a basic
identifier and, where you allow it, your email, to keep your data synced across devices.
2. Third-party processors
We share the minimum data needed with these providers, each under their own terms:
Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of body/product images to estimate
measurements and recommend sizes, and automated quality/safety review of generated
try-on images.
Google (Gemini) — AI generation of virtual try-on images; we request
that inputs are not stored beyond processing.
FASHN — AI generation of virtual try-on images (auto-deleted within 72 hours).
Google Firebase — anonymous authentication, backend functions, and
database for usage limits and subscription status.
RevenueCat & Apple — processing and management of subscriptions.
Payment is handled by Apple; we do not receive your card details.
3. How we use your information
To estimate measurements, recommend sizes, and generate virtual try-ons.
To enforce free-tier limits and unlock FitCheck AI Pro features.
To keep your profile and history available across your devices when signed in.
To operate, secure, and improve the app.
4. Retention
Try-on inputs and outputs are deleted from our AI provider within 72 hours. Photos sent for
measurement are processed to produce measurements and are not retained by us afterward; they may
be subject to the AI provider's own limited retention for safety and abuse-prevention. Data you
store in the app (profile, history) stays until you delete it in Settings → Data or
Settings → Privacy, or uninstall the app.
5. Your choices
Delete a remembered try-on photo any time in Settings → Privacy.
Delete your account and everything tied to it — checks, history, saved photos, and
sign-in — any time in Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
Clear history and favorites in Settings → Data.
Sign out to stop cross-device sync; request account/data deletion via the email below.
6. Age requirements
FitCheck AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region),
and we do not knowingly collect their data. Because the app processes photos of your body, you
must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to submit photos, or have the consent and
supervision of a parent or legal guardian to do so. If we learn that we have collected photos or
personal information from someone who does not meet these requirements, we will delete it —
contact us at the email below to report a concern.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
